Congratulations to the OAVT’s Member Services and Communications Coordinator

The OAVT is happy to congratulate our Member Services and Marketing Coordinator, Myscha Stafford on her soon-to-arrive baby! We are excited to meet her new arrival. In Myscha’s absence, we are pleased to welcome Arya Reghu to the OAVT team as the Events and Marketing Coordinator.

Arya is an events and marketing professional who has held worked with international associations, not-for-profit organizations and has experience managing in-person and virtual events across India. She recently graduated from Seneca College’s Event Management: Creative Design program with high honours and is a current member of Meeting Professionals International, Toronto.

“Working for a cause has always been my focus from the start of my events and marketing career,” says Arya. “I look at my Events and Marketing role with the OAVT as a great opportunity to create an impact in the animal world.”

Arya is passionate about public service and has volunteered in several not-for-profit organizations in Sudbury while attending Cambrian College to study public relations.

“Arya’s positive energy is infectious to those around her,” said Catrina Watson, the OAVT’s Events and Sponsorship Manager. “In her first few days with the OAVT, she has brought forth many ideas that will positively impact upcoming events and initiatives.”

Arya will be an integral voice for several upcoming programs that we can’t wait to announce! Stay tuned to OAVT communication channels for all of the latest information.

Some member services items have shifted to other staff members. If you are unsure where to direct your inquiry, please contact oavt@oavt.org and your message will be forwarded appropriately.
