To become a member of the OAVT, you must be a Canadian citizen, or permanent resident, or an individual with a valid Canadian Student Visa.

Student Member Available to those who are currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technology course of study at an OAVT accredited school.

Available to those who have graduated from an OAVT accredited college and are working towards becoming an RVT OR are an RVT transferring to Ontario. Pending members must also be authorized by the government to work in Canada.
