Registration and Tickets
When does registration open and close?
Registration opens November 10, 2026, with Early Bird pricing available until January 8, 2027.
Good news! Registration remains open right through the conference, so there’s no need to worry about missing a registration deadline. Regular pricing will apply after the Early Bird deadline, with onsite registration also available at a higher rate.
We encourage attendees to register early to take advantage of the best available rates!
What registration types and rates are available?
Full Conference Delegate Pass pricing for OAVT 2027 is as follows:
OAVT Members — Early Bird $340, Regular $375 (plus taxes)
OAVT Non-Members — Early Bird $460, Regular $495 (plus taxes)
Student Members — $175 (plus taxes)
Student Non-Members — $225. (plus taxes)
Early Bird pricing ends January 8, 2027.
Single-day tickets and additional registration options are available during the online registration process.
What is included with my registration?
A Full Conference Delegate Pass and Single Day Passes provides admission to continuing education sessions, access to the Trade Show and breakfast, lunch and breaks (education subject to session capacity).
Are there early-bird rates or registration deadlines?
Yes! Early Bird Full Conference Delegate Passes are $340 for OAVT Members and $460 for Non-Members. Regular rates are $375 for Members and $495 for Non-Members. Do OAVT members receive a discounted rate?
Yes. OAVT Members receive preferred Full Conference Delegate Pass pricing: $340 Early Bird, $375 Regular compared with $460, $495 respectively for Non-Members.
Are group registrations available?
Yes!
Group discount is available to organization’s sending FOUR or more staff to the OAVT Conference 2027. Each staff member will receive a 10% discount on their conference pass (ELIGIBLE PASSES – FULL CONFERENCE ONLY MEMBER/ NON MEMBER).
To receive the group discount, email the names of your group members, and the clinic name, to events@oavt.org.
The group discount does NOT apply to:
- Sponsor / Exhibitor Staff passes
- Student passes
- Retired Member passes
- Guest passes
- Add-on’s
- OR single day passes
Can I register onsite?

Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
What is the registration cancellation and refund policy?
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
- A Cancellation Fee of $100 applies to all cancellations made prior to 11:59 PM on January 25, 2027
- Cancellation Requests made after 11:59PM on January 25, 2027 will NOT be refunded
- Cancellation Requests can be processed through the online portal or can be made in writing to events@oavt.org

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes! Please contact events@oavt.org for assistance.
What happens if I cannot attend due to illness or an emergency?
If illness or an unexpected emergency prevents you from attending, please contact events@oavt.org as soon as possible. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the conference cancellation policy. Refunds are not guaranteed.
Program, Sessions & Continuing Education
Do I need to pre-register for individual sessions?
Attendees can add sessions to their personalized agenda through the conference app to help plan their conference experience. Please note that adding a session to your agenda does not reserve or guarantee a seat.
All sessions are subject to room capacity and available seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees must check in and be scanned at the entrance to each session. Admission will be permitted only if capacity is available at the time of entry.
We encourage attendees to arrive early for their preferred sessions, as popular sessions may reach capacity.
Will sessions be recorded or available after the conference?
No, sessions are not recorded.
Hotel, Venue & Travel
Where is the conference being held?
The OAVT Conference 2027 takes place February 26–27, 2027, at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The connected Best Western Parkway is also part of the conference hotel complex.
Is there a conference hotel rate and how do I book it?
Yes! Preferred conference rates are available at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North and the connected Best Western Parkway for OAVT Conference 2027 attendees.
Preferred nightly rates:
- Sheraton Parkway Toronto North: $199.00 per night plus taxes
- Best Western Parkway: $174.00 per night plus taxes
To access these exclusive rates, you must first register for the OAVT 2027 Conference. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing the hotel booking link and instructions on how to secure your accommodations at the preferred conference rate.
We encourage attendees to book early, as rooms are limited and subject to availability.
When is the hotel booking deadline?
To take advantage of the preferred OAVT Conference 2027 hotel rates, reservations must be made on or before Thursday, February 4, 2027.
Please note that rooms within the conference room block are limited and subject to availability. We strongly encourage attendees to book early to secure their preferred accommodations and conference rate.
Is parking available and is there a fee?
Yes! Complimentary parking is available onsite at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North and Best Western Parkway for all OAVT Conference 2027 attendees.

If you have dietary requirements, please share them during the registration process, where requested.
What accessibility accommodations are available?

Will there be a mobile event app?
Yes! The OAVT 2027 Conference will feature the PheedLoop GO! mobile app, your go-to resource for everything conference-related.
Through the app, attendees can explore the conference agenda, create a personalized schedule, view speaker information, discover exhibitors and sponsors, and stay informed with important conference updates.
Details on how to download and access the app will be shared with registered attendees closer to the conference.
Is there a dress code?
There is no formal dress code anticipated; comfortable, casual professional attire and layers are recommended for conference sessions.
