To celebrate award recipients during RVT Month, nominations will open annually in June and close in July. The selection committee will deliberate in August and recipients will be notified in September.

This award recognizes a clinic that embodies the ideal veterinary team model by using RVTs to their fullest capabilities, while also building an integrated and supportive team throughout the clinic.

Volunteer of the Year

Nominated by the OAVT's staff or Board of Directors, this award recognizes an individual that has provided outstanding volunteer support to the OAVT and its initiatives.

OAVT ANNIVERSARY PINS

Anniversary pins are distributed to members to recognize milestone years of membership with the OAVT, starting at 20 years, and every five years thereafter. Members receive pins based on the number of years they’ve been a continuous member of the OAVT. Pins are mailed to recipients each year at the end of October.

Pins do not recognize the number of years as an RVT. Relocating to another province, or having a lapse in membership because of unpaid dues or incomplete CE collection will affect a member’s years of OAVT membership.
