The RVT Advancement Fund, now in its fifth year, has provided tens of thousands of dollars to Ontario RVTs looking to advance their careers in ways such as pursuing a specialist designation, an undergraduate or graduate degree, attending a conference, or transitioning to a new aspect of animal health.
While the Advancement Fund usually opens each spring, the OAVT held off on opening up applications as there were so many financial uncertainties surrounding the impact of COVID-19.
After an update on the financial position of the association, the OAVT Board of Directors is happy to announce that we are in a position to now open the RVT Advancement Fund for 2020.
