Who We Are:

The Brant Norfolk Veterinary Clinic has been a growing, small animal, after hours practice since we opened 20 years ago. We are located in a 6,000 sq ft building with a complete in-house Idexx lab, radiology, species separate wards with 8 emergency appointment rooms and we are shareholder run/owned- never corporate owned. We are very proud of our diverse, educated and skilled (with a touch of humour) team at BNVC and would be happy to add another RVT to join the clinic.

Benefits:

Dental, Prescription, $500 allowance per practitioner, $1,500 annual CE allowance, OAVT dues, $300 annual scrub allowance, 3+ weeks paid vacation, etc.

Qualifications:

-Registered veterinary technician in Ontario

-Work both 8-12 hour night/day shifts which include holidays (stat pay, hourly bonus!)/weekends/weekdays

-36 hours/week

-Have at least 5+ years of experience in emergency/after hours veterinary care

-Our ideal candidate is a fast learner, multi-tasker, experienced nursing/technical skills, work both as a team but possess independence, confident in anesthesia monitoring/troubleshooting, medication administration and have strong communication skills

-Must be willing to be on your feet for long hours, handle critical emergencies with quick decision making and accuracy, lift up to 50lbs, and have an upbeat, positive attitude towards the team no matter the shift
