Racing Forensics is hiring a part-time Registered Veterinary Technician for equine venipuncture at Western Fair Raceway.
Shifts are approximately 9 – 10 hours, depending on the number of scheduled races and are available on Monday, Tuesday and Friday afternoons/evenings from October 2 – May 30 2027.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties
- Administer Medication
- Collect blood samples from horses and/or administer IV medication
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
- Complete official documentation and record
Skills/Experience
- Registered Veterinary Technicians
- Experience working with horses
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
