Nor-West Animal Clinic is looking for a dedicated full time Registered Veterinary Technician to become part of our team. We are a privately owned practice located in Fort Frances, Ontario.
Fort Frances is a Canadian/USA port of entry located on beautiful Rainy Lake.
We are a mixed animal practice that has serviced the entire Rainy River District for over 50 years.
Our practice is equipped with up-to-date technology including on-site Idexx Lab, Digital Cytology, Digital Radiography (Regular, Dental and mobile for large animal), Laser surgery, Therapy Laser, Ultrasound and newly acquired Shock Wave Therapy.
As a full time RVT with NWAC your skills will be utilized in all aspects of the clinic’s operations. Technical, surgical assistance, nursing care, anesthetic monitoring, dental prophylaxis, lab work, client communication. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm.
The NWAC offers competitive wages with hourly rates of $24-$30. On call and emergency call-ins are paid additionally. Other benefits include Basic Health & Dental allowance, RRSP matching contributions, uniform allowance, paid OAVT dues, CE allowance and pet care discounts.
Applicant must hold a RVT license or be eligible to obtain one.
