Job Description:
To accommodate our growing client-base, Tavistock Veterinarian Professional Corporation (TVPC) is seeking two compassionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) to join our small animal teams. These full-time, permanent roles are ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional patient care and client service in a collaborative clinical environment.

RVTs at TVPC are vital to our daily operations and patient outcomes. You’ll be involved in every aspect of small animal care—from client education to surgical assistance—within a respectful and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and advanced RVT duties in accordance with OAVT scope of practice
  • Provide daily care and monitoring for small animal patients
  • Assist veterinarians during procedures, diagnostics, and surgeries
  • Manage anesthesia, pre-op prep, intra-op support, and post-op recovery
  • Prepare surgical packs and maintain instrument hygiene
  • Accurately input and manage patient and client data
  • Educate clients on treatment plans and at-home care
  • Maintain clinic cleanliness and uphold patient safety standards
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and consistent attendance

Requirements:

  • Registered and in good standing with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT)
  • Successful completion of the VTNE
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Reliable transportation
  • Relevant clinical experience an asset (new grads welcome!)

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage range: $23.50-$25
