Animals In Motion Rehabilitation Services (AIM) / Erin Trailside Veterinary Services (ETVS) is a privately owned rehabilitation and veterinary center located in Erin, Ontario. We pride ourselves on practicing progressive medicine while also giving our patients the gentle and respectful care they deserve.
We’re on the lookout for an experienced part time or full-time Rehabilitation Certified Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our passionate team at AIM/ETVS. We’re not just looking for someone to fill a position; we are looking for a friendly, easy-going individual who loves connecting with their team, clients, and patients. Our facility includes a low profile Oasis Underwater Treadmill, class 4 Companion Laser, E-Stim, therapeutic ultrasound, and a large gym with a variety of dry land equipment.
Responsibilities
If you are interested in a full time position we can offer a balance of rehabilitation and general practice. Your responsibilities would include assessing, creating, and carrying out physiotherapy plans for our rehabilitation patients at Animals In Motion Rehabilitation Services, as well as assisting our veterinarians in various procedures and diagnostics and providing essential care for our patients in the general practice at Erin Trailside Veterinary Services. You’ll also administer medications and treatments, perform dental cleanings, collect and analyze lab samples, take radiographs, educate pet owners on proper care, and maintain patient records.
If you would prefer a part time position with a sole focus on physiotherapy your responsibilities would include assessing, creating, and carrying out physiotherapy plans for our rehabilitation patients at Animals in Motion Rehabilitation Services.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced RVT who has completed their training in a CCRP/CCRT/CCRVN or equivalent accredited course. We are open to working with those interested in either a part-time or full-time position.
