Nutrition is a cornerstone of feline diabetes management, but translating nutritional recommendations into successful feeding plans can be challenging. This session will provide attendees with practical, evidence-based approaches to nutritional management of diabetic
cats, including diet selection, feeding strategies, weight management, and client communication. Participants will learn how nutrition goals may differ between overweight, underweight, newly diagnosed, and poorly regulated diabetic cats, and how RVTs can play a key role in monitoring progress and supporting long-term success.
