We are a privately owned general practice and urgent care hospital. We opened our doors in May 2026 in a brand-new, beautifully equipped facility, and we’re ready to grow our team! We are a people-driven team, and our core is to help the people and pets in our community. We’re looking for someone who shares that vision.
What you’ll do
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and support triage for appointments and urgent care cases
- Prepare patients for anesthesia and monitor them through induction, maintenance, and recovery
- Place IV catheters, collect samples, and run in-house lab diagnostics
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Assist in surgery and dental procedures
- Administer treatments and dispense medications under veterinary direction
- Educate clients on home care, discharge instructions, and follow-up
What you’ll bring
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) status with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario
- Previous experience as a technician in a clinical setting
- Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work
- Confident, low-stress animal handling
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A compassionate approach to pets and the people who love them
