Kahu Animal Hospital is independently owned, and we are deliberate about what that means. Financial gain is not the primary goal of our ownership. That gives us room to make decisions based on what an individual patient needs and what an individual family can realistically do, rather than on a target someone else set.
Some of our most rewarding cases are the ones where a pet stays in the home with the person who loves them. We work hard to avoid the need for economic euthanasia, and we get creative to find a path forward when the obvious one isn’t available. We act as guardians when animals don’t have one. We aim to provide the best medical care for all animals in society. If that’s the kind of medicine you want to be part of, we should talk.
