We would like to welcome another RVT to our team at Guelph Lake Veterinary Hospital located in the east end of Guelph, Ontario. We are a privately owned general practice performing surgery and medicine for cats and dogs. We take pride in being pet owners ourselves as we work to support other owners in the care of their pets. Beyond that, we are proud of our current team who all work as a cohesive efficient unit.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring RVT who would like to use their technical abilities to the fullest. We have in house lab and digital radiology and are looking forward to dental radiology in the future. RVTs get a lot of animal contact and can be relied on for certain vaccinations and procedures such as cytology/anal glands/nail trims in addition to the anesthesia, sample collection and animal restraint that is expected.
A full time or part time schedule would be determined with a mix of opening and closing shifts in addition to some weekend work. There is no on call or emergency work outside normal hours.
