We are seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our amazing and dedicated team!
Yonge-Davenport Pet Hospital is a privately owned, busy state-of-the-art small animal hospital in Downtown Toronto that prides itself on excellent customer service and high-quality medicine and surgery. Our clinic moved last year into a new 6,000sqft, fully renovated, state of the art facility! Our new facility is well equipped with 5 exam rooms, 2 ORs and a dental suite. New modern equipment awaits you including ECGs, blood pressure monitors, pulse-oximeters, digital radiography (including dental), ultrasound and full IDEXX in-house laboratory.

You will be part of a team of 5 DVMs, 6 RVTs, 7 Client Care Representatives, 2 ACAs, and a Practice Manager.
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled RVT to join our supportive and friendly team. The right individual should have an excellent work ethic, interpersonal and organizational skills, and must be able to work well independently, as well as part of a team environment. Attention to detail is also important.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technologist program.
- Candidates must have met the requirements to be a Registered Veterinary Technician, and in-clinic experience is preferred.
- Experience with the veterinary software AVImark is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Reception experience is also preferred, but not mandatory.
Details & Compensation:
- The position involves working a balanced schedule of 3 x weekday shifts (8am and 7pm), as well as every third weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm).
