About the Role
As an ER RVT, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care to our patients. You will work alongside a collaborative team of veterinarians, specialists, and fellow RVTs to provide compassionate, gold-standard medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Triage and assess emergency patients
Assist with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures including radiography & CT scans.
Monitor hospitalized and critical patients
Communicate effectively with veterinarians, teammates, and clients
Maintain accurate medical records
Support a positive, collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For
Registered Veterinary Technician with the OAVT (or eligible to register)
Previous ER or ICU experience is an asset (but not required)
Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
Calm, compassionate demeanor under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for emergency medicine and patient care
