Kew Beach Animal Hospital welcomes a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Veterinary Technician program
- Eligible for registration with OAVT
- New graduates are welcome! We help you prepare too for your VTNE!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical exams, patient assessments, and venipuncture
- Manage catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and radiology
- Assist in surgical preparation, procedures, and patient recovery
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Provide compassionate care to patients and their families
- Collaborate effectively with team members and pet parents
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to learning and professional growth
- A genuine love for companion animals
