Don Mills Animal Hospital is welcoming a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our amazing network of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!
- Have completed a Veterinary Technology program (eligible to register)
- Technical skills or knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy
- Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
- Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
- Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
- Passion to learn more within the role
- A love for all companion animals!

About us! We are currently a three-doctor practice looking to bring in another member to become part of our growing team. Well established over 50 years, in a beautiful community of North York, ON., which includes parks & walking trails; easy access to private parking, and a newly-built, bright clinic with a double surgery room. We are near 24/7 emergency hospitals, one being directly next to our location; no working on call, no overnights, no Sundays nor Holidays shifts!
