Caring for Life's Greatest Companions

404 Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital has an opportunity for Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) to join our Emergency team. The primary role of the Triage RVT is to provide quality patient care by assisting the Veterinarian and staff of the hospital. Working under the supervision of the Veterinarian for medical decisions, the Triage RVT is responsible for ensuring patients and their families are provided with optimum care efficiently. They are the doctor’s primary medical support person, aiding the DVMs in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of some aspects of their technical work and administrative details. They also have a very significant role in communicating with clients about their pets.

Previous emergency experience is preferred but not necessary. Our 24-hour emergency department is not only supported by our in-hospital team of specialists but also by our family of specialty hospitals.

The Emergency team works on a rotational schedule including weekends and holidays. This allows for even distribution of the shifts and an overall improved work/life balance. Our specialists also participate in providing after-hours support to our emergency team.
