Alta Vista Animal Hospital welcomes a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our established Primary Care team in this full-time role. You’ve earned your credentials, and we’re here to help you put those skills to work. Key skills you’ll apply include:

• Venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring
• Physical exams, patient assessment, triage, and surgical assistance
• Lab work, pharmacy, client education, and compassionate patient care
• New grads: We provide coaching and training to help build your confidence and experience!

Requirements: 

• Graduate of a Veterinary Technician program (new graduates and experienced RVTs welcome)
• Passionate to learn and open to career growth
• Fluent in English; bilingualism is an asset
• Physically able to lift up to 25kg and support up to 50mg
• Strong client service, time management, and multitasking skills
• Able to stay composed under pressure with sound judgment
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational abilities
• Professional, positive, and committed to ethical standards and confidentiality
