Trillium Lakes Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal clinic in Bracebridge. We are expanding our services to our wonderful clientele and are offering two full time registered veterinary technician positions. As a clinic, we work to create a supportive and collaborative environment for our clients and our team, focusing on respect and mutual understanding. We are a fully equipped hospital and practice with high standards.
The right candidate for our clinic should be confident to:
1) Communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with clients and staff members using efficient oral and written communication skills
2) Document and maintain accurate veterinary medical records
3) Administer and analyze diagnostic tests using appropriate equipment and techniques
4) Operate and maintain state-of-the-art veterinary medical equipment
5) Assist veterinarians with surgical and therapeutic procedures
6) Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia
7) Provide excellent veterinary nursing care
8) Execute and evaluate quality diagnostic images
8) Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
9) Maintain an appropriate inventory of all medical supplies
10) Maintain and support a collaborative work environment and assist other staff members as required
