St Clair East Animal Hospital is a well-established, independent veterinary clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care for pets in East York/Toronto. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate and comprehensive veterinary services to our community.

We are currently seeking an experienced RVT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a registered veterinary technician in a clinical setting , able to work 4 days / week ( 32 hours per week) . As an RVT, you will play a crucial role in assisting our veterinarians with medical procedures, providing compassionate care to our patients, and supporting the overall operation of our clinic.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work and urinalysis
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of patient information
Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their owners
Assist with client communication and education regarding pet health and wellness
Help maintain organization within the clinic

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) .
Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures and terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Passion for providing exceptional care to animals and their owners
