About Royal Ford Veterinary Hospital

Royal Ford Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned small animal hospital in Oakville. The hospital is entering an exciting new chapter under new ownership focused on investing in the team, technology, client experience, and long-term growth of the practice.

We are committed to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care and creating a genuinely positive workplace where people enjoy coming to work, feel supported, and are empowered to do their best work. We believe teamwork, kindness, professionalism, and open communication are just as important as excellent medicine.

The Opportunity

As an RVT, you will play an important role in both patient care and the overall client experience. No two days are exactly the same. One moment you may be monitoring anesthesia during surgery, the next helping a client understand a treatment plan, or collaborating with the team to manage a busy caseload.

You will assist with exams, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia monitoring, radiographs, laboratory work, and patient treatments while ensuring pets receive compassionate, fear-free support throughout their visit.

You will also communicate with clients by phone, electronically, and in person regarding treatments, medications, preventive care, and post-operative instructions.

We are a computerized hospital and continue to invest in technology and AI-supported tools to improve workflow efficiency, medical record keeping, and client communication.

As a growing clinic, all team members contribute where needed, including helping with reception support, administrative tasks, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and organized hospital environment.
