Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding veterinary services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures (including laparoscopic spays)
• Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiography
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
• Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their owners
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate clients on topics such as nutrition, preventive care, and medication administration

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited veterinary technology program.
• Licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with The OAVT.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in diagnostic imaging and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
