Riverside South Animal Hospital is looking for a dedicated and experienced RVT to lead our team and manage the hospital. Since 2007, we have been a trusted part of the local community, providing compassionate care to pets and building strong relationships with their families.

You’ll play a key role in guiding the team, optimizing clinic operations, and ensuring we continue to deliver excellent veterinary care in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

About the Role:
You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the clinic, support the team, manage client services, and help drive the hospital’s growth. You’ll also be involved in staff development, scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining our positive workplace culture.

This is a contract position covering a maternity leave, ideal for someone who enjoys a leadership challenge and wants to work with a close-knit, supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and coach a team of veterinary professionals
Ensure smooth, efficient clinic operations and workflow
Support client service excellence and handle escalations
Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, planning, and performance goals
Manage inventory, resources, and vendor relationships
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring staff
Step in to support reception or administrative duties when needed

Your Qualifications:
4+ years of experience working as an RVT in a hospital setting
Comfortable with financial reporting, staff scheduling, and mentoring others
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
A proactive and team-oriented mindset
Strong consideration will be given for previous leadership experience in a veterinary setting
