Racing Forensics is hiring Registered Veterinary Technicians for equine venipuncture at Georgian Downs for the summer (June 2 to August 31, 2024).
Shifts on Saturdays and Tuesdays start at 2:45pm and 6:45pm, while Sunday shifts start at 1:30pm and 5:30pm.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties
• Collect blood samples from horses and/or administer IV medication
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
• Complete official documentation and records
Skills/Experience
• Registered Veterinary Technicians
• Experience working with horses
• Proficient in phlebotomy
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
