Racing Forensics is hiring Full-time and Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technicians for equine venipuncture at Mohawk Park.
Shifts on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year and Tuesdays from June to October start at 2:20 pm and 6:35 pm. Times are subject to change.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties
- Collect blood samples from horses and/or administer IV medication
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
- Complete official documentation and records
Skills/Experience
- RVT. Graduate of a Veterinary Technician program are welcome to apply
- Experience working with horses
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
