Port Hope Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Services is seeking a new Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team!

Our new emergency clinic and wellness hospital services all animals in need. We have a large modern facility with all amenities including in house lab, dental, emergency services, and companion wellness appointments.

We strive to be a friendly relaxed workspace, where people are comfortable and appreciated for their contribution to our team.  Staff have access to relaxation room, gym equipment, full kitchen and more.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and patients.

Responsibilities Include(not limited to):

  • Triage intakes
  • Patient discharges
  • Answering phones
  • Catheter placement & blood draws
  • Lab work
  • Radiographs
  • Varying types of surgery assistance
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Dentistry
  • Wellness appointments
  • Maintain accurate medical records
