We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing small-animal team located in the south part of London, close to the 402. If you are passionate about quality patient care, client education, and working with a small, non-corporate team, in a supportive environment, we would love to meet you.
What We’re Looking For:
-Confidence and competence with anesthesia monitoring and detailed record keeping
-Proactively assist with client education and customer service
-Detail-oriented with a passion for continuing education, and offering recent advances in veterinary care
-Solid skills in radiology positioning
-Proficiency in venipuncture and blood collection
-Experience with — or the ability to quickly learn — in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, and cloud-based software programs for medical records and client-facing software portals
-Experience with handling laboratory specimens
-Self-motivated to develop new skills and techniques for patient care and client education, you see this as a career and not a job
-Can communicate empathically so pet parents feel educated and empowered, not judged
-A collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a healthy team culture
-Comfort working with veterinarians who have different workflows and working styles
-In good-standing with OAVT
