Otonabee Animal Hospital is seeking a reliable Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team!
This position is available for immediate or future occupancy, depending on the right candidate.
Hours:
We are looking to fill a Part-Time, regular schedule position (18-27 hours per week) To be discussed.
NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS.
Must have qualifications:
- Good standing with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- A good work ethic and positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgical & dental procedures
- Anesthetic Induction & monitoring
- Collect laboratory samples
- Perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
- X-rays
- Provide client education
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
