Registered Veterinary Technician

Markham Road Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated RVT to join our busy, family-owned small animal practice. This position is for a current vacancy.
We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.
Compensation
Hourly wage: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Compensation may include performance-based incentives and staff discounts on veterinary services
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective patient restraint and nursing care
Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
Perform anesthesia monitoring and surgical preparation
Collect laboratory samples and assist with in-house diagnostics
Communicate clearly with clients and provide education on patient care
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Requirements
Veterinary Technician diploma
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Genuine passion for animal welfare and high-quality patient care
