London Cat Clinic, a full service, client oriented, feline-only practice is seeking a full time RVT. Part time candidates will be considered as well.
We are a progressive practice, able to offer the client current up-to-date treatment options including ultrasound (AFAST/TFAST and full abdominal ultrasound) and still being privately owned, this gives us flexibility.
Job description includes exam room nursing (history, basic exams, outpatient treatments), surgery and anesthesia including induction and intubation, dentistry, dental X-rays, routine radiography, in house laboratory including urinalysis, venipuncture for sampling and IV placement, client education and some reception duties.
We are a small clinic and share duties so good communication and organizational skills as well as interpersonal skills, are ideal. The perfect candidate will be able to work independently but love working as part of a team, sharing the day’s successes and activities in order to maintain a high level of cohesiveness with the other team members. Of course a love of cats and cat medicine is required!
Feline-related CE is encouraged and financially supported.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
