Work-Life Balance, Fun, Fulfillment and Financial Stability

Lock One Animal Hospital in St. Catharines is a progressive, independently-owned small animal clinic in the Niagara region. Our team of highly driven, young, and enthusiastic veterinary professionals is excited to welcome a positive and energetic full-time RVT to join our all-star team!

As a clinic, our focus is on the quality of care for our patients and the quality of life for our employees. For our patients that means:

  • Individualized medicine
  • A focus on animal welfare, no matter the financial restrictions
  • Low stress/fear free handling (no fighting fractious cats)
  • Treating pets with the dignity and kindness we would use with our own pets

For our team that means:

  • Above average compensation ($25+/hr. commensurate with experience
  • Generous CE ($750/year) and encouragement of your vet med interests
  • Comprehensive health/dental benefits & pet discounts
  • Paid professional licensing and membership dues
  • Being part of a team that is actually happy at work, including lots of team building activities!
  • Biannual performance and compensation reviews which mean that you will be rewarded as our team and success grows!
  • We are open 8am – 6pm, no weekends, no on-call or overnight!

All applicants must have RVT certification, and have completed an accredited VT diploma. A sense of humour is also strictly required (only slightly less important than RVT status).

Experience is preferred, however highly motivated new grads are encouraged to apply.
