Lakeside Niagara is privately owned by a Niagara-born veterinarian. We are a three DVM practice whose team brings gold standard service to the dogs and cats of St. Catharines. Our main priority is the quality of life for our team members as this translates to great patient and client care. We never work weekends or holidays and we offer at minimum a living wage for all employees.

Can you bring your veterinary experience to a hard-working and fun-loving clinic? We use our RVTs to their fullest potential. The ideal candidate is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has a passion for doing what they were trained for: venipuncture, catheter placement, intubation, anesthesia calculations and monitoring, surgical preparation and recovery, dental radiographs and cleaning, performing radiographs, nursing care, keeping detailed and accurate patient records – to name just a few of the amazing things an RVT can do. The ideal candidate will also have great interpersonal and communication skills, be comfortable with multi-tasking and problem solving, and have a passion to teach and a drive to learn more. We utilize a reference lab, have an in-house lab, digital radiographs including dental, multiparameter anesthetic monitoring equipment, point of care ultrasound, and utilize AI scribe for notes.

We are offering $24 – $28 per hour dependent on experience. We provide a four-day work week, fully paid health and dental benefits, paid sick days, paid OAVT membership dues, a generous CE allowance, have an amazing personal pet care discount, uniform allowance and 3 weeks of paid vacation.
