About You:
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician with at least 3 years of experience in a small animal clinic. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Be highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a “get it done” attitude
Responsibilities (Rotating Weekly Schedule through all 3 Positions):
- Appointments: History collection, performing TPRs, client education, administering vaccinations, blood collection, sample preparation for the lab, etc.
- Hospital Admissions/RVT Appointments: Express anal glands, perform nail trims, blood collections, ECG readings, provide excellent patient care for hospitalized patients, blood glucose curves, and more.
- Surgery/Dentistry: Oversee and assist with surgeries for 3-6 patients daily, complete dental COHATS, scale/polish, dental nerve blocks, radiographs, administer pre-medication and recovery care, place IV catheters, complete patient records and invoicing, and assist with patient discharges.
