Hyde Park Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time registered veterinary technician. We strive to provide quality and progressive care for all of our patients. We are 2+ veterinarian small animal hospital.
The ideal candidate is a registered veterinary technician with prior field experience. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and be a team player.
Duties include:
Anesthesia induction and monitoring
Assisting in surgery
General patient treatments
Blood collection
Animal restraint
Triage of incoming patients
Collection and analysis of lab samples
Diagnostic imaging
Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
Administration of medications
Effective communication of treatment plans with clients
