We are growing !!! Haliburton Veterinary Services is thrilled to have added three new Veterinarians to the team!!

Our team is searching for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), who enthusiastically strives to build positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets while being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service.

Our ideal RVT will assist veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a veterinarian. The RVT will also handle RVT appointments such as nail trims, analgesic/allergy injections, nutrition consults, refilling prescriptions etc. Our team also works together to prepare estimates, discuss treatment plans and bill out clients.

This position requires a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.


Valid Registered Veterinary Technician License is required.
Work well with others and have a strong work ethic.
Handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Follow instructions accurately.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Consistent, reliable transportation.
Good communication skills and writing skills, in English.

Work a minimum of four days per week.

Must be willing to occasionally work Saturdays.
