Fergus Veterinary Hospital is entering an exciting new chapter. With new independent ownership, updated equipment, a refreshed facility, and renewed enthusiasm for exceptional client service and high-quality veterinary medicine, we are looking for one Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team to fill a current part-time position.
Located in the beautiful town of Fergus, our hospital combines small-town community values with progressive veterinary care. We are building a collaborative, supportive team culture where RVTs are encouraged to use their full scope of skills and contribute meaningfully to patient care.
Our Hospital
Our recently updated practice is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment tools, including:
Full-body and dental digital radiography
Ultrasound
In-house laboratory diagnostics
New practice management software that enhances digital communication with clients
Key Responsibilities
As an RVT, your responsibilities will include — but are not limited to:
Monitoring and managing surgical and dental anesthesia
Performing laboratory testing
Prescription preparation and dispensing
Acquiring full-body and dental radiographs
Assisting with and running client appointments and education
Supporting a variety of technical and clinical procedures

What We’re Looking For
Registered Veterinary Technician (or eligible for registration in Ontario)
Strong interest in high-quality patient care and client education
A collaborative mindset and positive attitude
Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
Schedule
2 weekdays per week
Every other Saturday 8a-1p
Compensation
Wage rate commensurate with skillset and experience: $23.00/hr – $30.00/hr
Continuing Education (CE) allowance plus up to three days of paid leave to attend
