Responsibilities:
– Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
– Perform laboratory tests, such as bloodwork and urinalysis

-Willing to work in emergency hours with a stipulated and attractive wage
– Prepare and administer medications as directed by veterinarians
– Take digital x rays including dental x-rays
– Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
– Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals

-Perform Ultrasound on the dogs and cats and assist in transferring for interpretation
– Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
– Maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications:
– Certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a maintained membership.
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital if possible. New graduates are encouraged as well.
– Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and fellow staff
