Eagles Landing Animal Hospital is an AAHA Certified private small animal hospital in Vaughan. We are a compassionate, client-focused veterinary practice, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Position Overview:
A permanent full-time/part-time position is available (shifts may include days, evenings). We are looking for a compassionate, task oriented, Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! Veterinary technician students are welcome to apply! The ideal candidate is able to work in a team environment, but also must be comfortable working independently.
- Surgery preparation (drug calculations, IV catheter placement, intubation) and anesthetic monitoring
- Dentistry
- Taking digital radiographs (including dental radiographs)
- Sample collection (blood, urine and various cytologies)
- In house cytology interpretation
- Administering medications and eliciting treatments based on doctors advise
- History taking, TPR/triage of patients
- Providing customer service and client education
- Knowledge of AVImark is a must, experience with companion animals is a must.
