Dundas Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to complete our team.
Our RVT’s are responsible for:
- Client care
- Patient care
- Providing effective and efficient support to our veterinarians
- Performing procedures including: emergency triage; blood draws; lab analysis; radiology; catheterization; anesthesia; surgical support
- Continued care for hospitalized patients
- Daily, weekly and monthly duties
- Working alone and within a team environment
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Registered Veterinary Technician, in good standing in Ontario (or working toward RVT status)
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to be self-directed and also to work in a team environment
- Accuracy in entries and payment processing
- Ability to work weekdays between 8 am & 6 pm
