Downtown Animal Hospital is welcoming a full-time experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Experience assisting with surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia support and surgical assistance
- Strong knowledge of patient recovery, monitoring and post operative care
- Ability to maintain detailed records
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high quality care to our patients and exceptional support to their pet parent
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities during multiple appointments throughout the day
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- A passion for continuous learning and development
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their health and well being
