Website Columbia Valley Veterinary Clinic

We are the force of change in the community we serve.

Columbia Valley Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our growing team in the stunning East Kootenay mountains.

Located in the rural community of Canal Flats, British Columbia, our clinic sits beside Columbia Lake and between two iconic Canadian mountain ranges: the Rockies and the Purcells. If you love the outdoors and value work-life balance, this is an incredible place to call home.

Our privately owned clinic opened in 2021 as a mobile mixed-animal practice. Due to increasing demand, we have expanded into a state-of-the-art, 4,700 sq. ft. veterinary hospital designed for both large and small animals.

Our thoughtfully designed space offers:

  • Easy flow for large and small animal treatment
  • High ceilings, exposed wood, and large windows in a spa-like setting
  • A 1,650 sq. ft. staff-only upstairs area with kitchenette, lounge, and bedroom for occasional on-call shifts
  • Modern, advanced equipment to support high-quality medicine and a wide variety of case.
  • An exam room for RVT appointments

We started Columbia Valley Veterinary Clinic to help change the culture of our industry. We believe your career should add to your life — not drain it. We know how much time and heart you invest into your work, and we are committed to supporting your well-being, professional growth, and work-life balance.

At our clinic, you will feel: included, valued, supported, and appreciated.
