Chicopee Hills Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our efficient and compassionate team! Our talented RVTs work 8-hr shifts, generally Monday to Friday, with very rare need to fill in Saturdays.

We are a private four doctor companion animal practice dedicated to the well being of cats, dogs, and rabbits. We practice progressive veterinary medicine in a patient-centred environment.

Job responsibilities include diligent attention to nursing, peri-operative patient care including surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring, sample collection, in house laboratory work including cytology and digital radiography, complete oral health assessment and treatment (scaling, polishing, digital dental x-rays),  maintaining patient and hospital records, performing patient restraint, client communication, and general hospital maintenance.

Must haves for this position include a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, good problem solving abilities and ability to work as a team.
