Chicopee Hills Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal clinic located in Kitchener. We are a progressive vet clinic that practices individualized medicine. Every patient’s medical plan is tailored individually to them. Most of our patients we have known from their first vet visit, and we are the ones sending them off at the end. It makes for a very close and wonderful relationship with our patients and clients! We are also fear free certified and we love it; we aim to do the entirety of a patient’s appointment with the clients.
Full time RVT wanted for 8hr workdays, 5 days a week with the occasional half-day Saturday. Job responsibilities include diligent attention to patient nursing, preoperative and postoperative patient care; general anesthesia; digital dental x-rays, cleaning and charting; digital radiology; using in-house lab machines which include blood, urine and cytology machines. Our RVTs also run their own appointments like nutrition consults, blood draw, pre-procedure prep etc. It is important for our RVTs to work well in an integrated team environment, have a positive attitude, be friendly, helpful and empathetic with clients.
