Independently owned and operated clinic on Bloor Street West

Bickford Park Animal Hospital is looking to add an additional full time Registered Veterinary Technician to the team of our privately owned and operated facility. The incumbent will have strong technical skills with 3+ years working experience along with extraordinary client communication skills and a desire to interact with clients about their pet.

We have a tight knit team and looking to find the best fit to include in our surgery, treatment, and exam room RVT schedule. An example of your schedule would be:

Monday 9-5pm (exam room RVT)

Tuesday 10-6pm (treatment room/surgery RVT)

Wednesday 11-7pm (client care – front end support)

Thursday 10-6pm (treatment room/surgery RVT)

Friday 9-5pm (exam room RVT)

Saturday 9-2pm (treatment room RVT)

*rotating 1 in 3 Saturdays; get a weekday off when scheduled on Saturday*

In addition to the usual technical duties and responsibilities, there will be a strong emphasis on client communication and interaction. Truly enjoying the relationship you develop with our clients along with our patients is equally important. This position is multifaceted and requires exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to support our front end staff during peak hours. Experience with AVIMARK and RAPPORT will be considered an asset.
