Beattie Pet Hospital – Stoney Creek is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our skilled and compassionate team. As a 24-hour General Practice and Urgent Care hybrid veterinary hospital, our team provides comprehensive care ranging from routine wellness visits to urgent medical cases.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVT who enjoys practicing high-quality veterinary medicine, working with a supportive team, and developing their skills in a dynamic clinical environment.
Our RVTs are valued members of the medical team and play a key role in delivering gold-standard patient care, including anesthesia monitoring, surgery support, dentistry, laboratory diagnostics, urgent care support, and client education.
What You’ll Do
– Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and dental prophylaxis
– Prepare and monitor patients for surgical and dental procedures
– Support urgent care cases and patient triage
– Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
– Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines
– Provide compassionate patient care and client education
– Practice safe animal handling and restraint techniques
– Maintain accurate electronic medical records
– Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient veterinary hospital
What We’re Looking For
– Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Ontario
– Strong skills in animal handling, patient restraint, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical support
– Experience in small animal practice preferred
– Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced veterinary hospital
– Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
– Commitment to compassionate, gold-standard veterinary care
