The Team at PINE GROVE VETERINARY HOSPITAL in beautiful Orillia, Ontario, is urgently looking for a FULL-TIME REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN. We are a full-service, small animal hospital and are proudly AAHA and Fear Free accredited. We are closed weekends, evenings and statutory holidays and our hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on our two surgery days each week. Our staff members work 32-36 hours over a 4-day compressed work week and enjoy 3 days off each week. We offer group Health & Dental benefits, as well as group Registered Retirement Savings. Our staff enjoy regular weekly meetings and frequent Lunch & Learns as well as CE and uniform allowances, and, we cover the cost of annual OAVT dues. Our Registered Veterinary Technicians spend a great deal of time interacting with clients in person and on the phone, so top-notch communication skills are beneficial. Experience with Avimark would be helpful but not required. We are willing to take on and mentor a new grad, but they must write and pass the VTNE no later than December 31, 2023. Rate of pay will range from $18 – $26 depending on level of skills and experience.
