Working with the Orthopedic Patient: At Home Rehab Support and How to Troubleshoot Post-Op Concerns
Orthopedic surgeries are becoming more common in general medicine practices. It is becoming increasingly important for RVTs to understand how to communicate with clients before and after an orthopedic procedure. In this workshop attendees will learn basic rehabilitation skills to help pet owners prepare for orthopedic surgery both pre and post op. We will explore home rehab techniques through hands-on demonstrations and discuss how to troubleshoot frequently asked questions in the postoperative period.
