Southwest Veterinary Coaching presents a variety of courses aimed at further development within general practice. Southwest Vet Coaching is comprised of two RVTs who each have several years of ER experience. We have designed several courses geared towards RVTs which are accredited by the OAVT for up to 4 CE credits . We provide the experience of an in clinic, hands on approach towards emergency skills and knowledge. The following are the main courses we provide at this time, although we are adding more courses often, and are happy to create an individual course based on the needs of your clinic.
- The Art of ER Triage, including the Top 5 Common Emergencies seen in companion animals
- Anesthesia & Medical Math
- Toxicities & placement of nasogastric tubes
- All about blood, including blood transfusions, ECGS and lab work
We can provide these courses anywhere in Southwestern Ontario!
Time – between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Cost – $750 for up to 8 staff members
